DAREDEVIL BY BENDIS & MALEEV TP ULT COLL BOOK 02

During a character-defining run, Brian Michael Bendis crafted a pulp-fiction narrative that exploited the Man Without Fear’s rich tapestry of characters and psychodrama, and resolved them in an incredibly nuanced, modern approach. Now, this Eisner award-winning run is collected across three titanic trade paperbacks! In this volume, Matt Murdock is forced to reckon with the problems and legal ramifications that have emerged as a result of his public outing. The last thing he needs is the return of Typhoid Mary…one of his deadliest foes, a schizophrenic predator who terrorizes her targets with a seemingly inexhaustible lust for bloodshed. But even worse is her connection to Wilson Fisk, who’s back in Hell’s Kitchen…attempting to restore his fallen empire and exact revenge against those who ousted him from his once untouchable position of Kingpin of Crime.

  1. So are these the paperback renditions of the previously published omnibus editions?

  2. This is a MUST HAVE for any Marvel fan interested in Daredevil.  The best quality Daredevil story ever told.  I already own this.  But if you’re looking to buy Daredevil?  This is THE run.  (Better than Miller’s run, we can all admit, those who’ve read both recently)

@rjberger – This was in omnibus, though those may be hard to find.  Get this if you haven’t.  It’s cheaper on http://www.amazon.com and easier to read.

  3. @kickass – yeah, I have the omnibus collections and am happy to see Marvel putting it back into print into TPB for those who haven’t read it yet

  4. Hell yeah I’m buying this (the first Omni of Bendis/Maleev run resells for bout $300 these days so these are a must own) And the 11 oclockers were wrong in last week’s podcast: Bendis run on daredevil is THE definiteive run on the character. Growing up with Miller’s run gives it nostalgia points and he definitely enriched the character 1000% but Bendis run is the best read now. I recently read both runs for the first time and the Bendis run is one of the greatest runs on any character i’ve ever read.
