  1. Eh, ill give it a go.

  2. Been looking forward to Flash, but this is way way up there on the list. This will probably be on the top of my stack.

  3. Boom! puts out some good material; this is something i’ll definitely pick up.

  4. The premise sounds fantastic.  On my pull list.

  5. I’m a fan of Mark Waid, and after what BOOM! did with the kids line, I owe it to them to check out this book. Hopefully it’ll be good!

  6. I am so sold on this.

  7. I’ll get it if my store does heh.

  8. Ill give it a go if the store has it.

  9. I’ll read you guys’ reviews.

  10. Wow I just saw a preview of this and I am horrified and intrigued at the same time. Trade waiting though

  11. hmmm?……..

  12. just saw the preview on cbr and i am really excited for this.

  13. Its waid i give it a shot

  14. OmniMan from Invincible?

  15. "In superhero comics, pretty much everyone who’s called upon to put on a cape is, at heart, emotionally equipped for the job. I reject that premise," said series writer and BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Mark Waid. "IRREDEEMABLE is, in a way, my third and most complex chapter on the cost of superheroics – a pulp adventure tale of horror exploring how the lessons we learn about right and wrong as children can become warped and twisted when challenged by the realities of the adult world."

  16. HOLY SHIT! I just read the preview…and i’m soooooooooo excited for this now. This is probubly my most anticipated title this week now. I was gonna drop it just to save a couple bucks…but i think it will even out, thanks to The Boys =P

  17. Just saw the preview and it looks promising…gonna give it a shot and see how it goes

  18. Pricey. Extra pages?

  19. I’m not so sure if I should add this comic book to my collection because first of all I don’t know this dude and his comic book brand looks like it’s from an un-known company.

  20. This has a really good premise and could turn out pretty awesome depending on how it’s handled. Hopefully it’s more of the slow transformation from being good to going bad, and not just being bad now killing good guys.

  21. So in the store it looked like standard 32 pages. I’ll get the trade.

  22. Story wasn’t bad can’t wait to see where it goes.

  23. Nice start…I liked the art in ballpark scene flashback.

  24. I thought this first issue was great; really set the foundation for what’s to come.

  25. How many story pages is this?

  26. 23 story pages.  5 page preview of The Unknown at the end.

  27. Very, very good, 5-star book. I eagerly anticipate the next issue.

  28. @Wayne: Thanks!

    I pass then.

  29. Read this the other day.  I haven’t been this excited by a comic in a while.  This was REALLY excellent.  I can’t wait to see where it goes.

  30. The story was pretty good, but the art failed to seal the deal for me.  This book definitely needed more of a visual punch to set it apart.

I may return if I continue to hear good things, however.
