From the solicit “Can the heroes stop this terrible plot in time?”  Answer no, they cannot, this terrible plot played itself out over the summer of ’89 and no one could or would stop it.  The one thing that would make this totally worth it would be the inclusion of the What If?  that told the losing of Atlantis Attacks, where again the heroes are unable to stop the plot in time. 

  2. This sounds and looks awful. Look at the cover for this thing! The best they could do is hide the fact it’s ‘Atlantis Attacks’ and make people think its an Iron Man book.

    Having said that, I want to read this so badly because of how awful I heard it was.

  3. Oh man, this and the Acts of Vengeance Omnibus makes for quite the 1-2 punch of crossovers I was obsessed with in junior high school that aren’t going to hold up today.
