  1. Looking forward to this, last issue was great.  Don’t know what to make of the story so far, but next to the artwork, it doesn’t really matter.  Fans of this should try to hunt down back issues of Stephen Bissette’s TYRANT.

  2. That’s a really sad image….

    Looks cool though.

  3. Wow, TYRANT.  I always wonder whether Stephen was eternally embarrassed by all the huge promises and dreams he layed out in those letter pages only to stumble and die before he barely got out of the gate.  That book could and should have been the coolest thing ever.  Well, except for Big Numbers by Alan Moore and Bill Sienkiewicz…!  Or Void Indigo.

  4. @Urthona – Was TYRANT only the 4 issues?  Really dug all the extras in the back of the book. Love Bissette’s art, and the stories were interesting and full, considering the subject matter and time period.

  5. Yup, that was it.  So sweet.  So good.  And promising to be 30 years long…those 4 issues came out in something like 3 full years too.  I loved it and it hurt so bad that Steve just couldn’t come close to achieving his vision…his passion in those back pages was white hot.  Tyrant…what might have been.

Wow, this issue of AoR was BRUTAL, even by AoR standards.  But I’m enjoying this enough, it definitely is harsher than the earlier AoR minies and much BROWNER too…I think that’s a good thing, Delgado is letting things progress and change (though I miss the color a bit)
