  2. WOW. Somebody paid attention, in I don’t know how long. Well, basically, this series is Eric Shanower’s baby, and he pretty much handmakes every issue by himself (which is why it comes out so rarely, about quarterly I think.) You don’t really read because you’re dying to know what happens next (unless you’re unfamiliar with Homer or with Greek History in general), but you read to see Shanower bring old historical characters and events to life in his own artistic way. You can try out the first trade, as it’s usually dirt cheap used, or if you’re a little familiar with Homer, you can pick up this weeks issue to try out the art, and you’ll still be able to follow the story.
