Great week of sketches. The Vader looks a lot like some of the early concept art I’ve seen for the character (I can’t believe I just said that) and anytime Ottley draws Allen the Alien it makes me happy. Skeletor looks like he’s waiting for a hot date to come off her front porch and climb onto his hog.
Is Lone Wolf actually smiling? Unheard of.
It’s not the flashiest, but that LWaC by Samnee is maybe one of my favorite things he’s ever done. And that’s saying something. I can’t put my finger on it, but I just love it.
Absolutely agreed, Josh. That’s my favorite Samnee piece too. I like the restraint. It’s a violent action, portrayed gracefully. Love everything about the composition.
That Shane McDermott Skeletor is one hell of a find too. Wow!
I think Samnee has something in this post every week and every week I find myself saying, "Holy crap that’s gorgeous!"
I gotta love anything that pays tribute to The Beatles, I mean who doesn’t love The Beatles? I wish I knew who those characters are in the Endless.
That Skeletor looks like it should be in a book with Ghost Rider. Also, awesome LWaC drawings.
Tried to buy the Samnee piece. Someone with excellent taste already got it. That is the first time I’ve ever tried to buy anything from this column.

From left to right they are Destruction, Delirium, Death (I think? MIGHT be Desire. hard to tell at that size with what she is wearing) and Dream.
I really need to commission something from Ottley.
the Skeletor piece is BAD-ASS!
Love the Francavilla & the Fowler. It came as a real shock when I realised I hadn’t seen anyone else depict the Endless like this – a pleasant shock, mind.
My favourite of these is definitely the LWaC by Samnee. That is spectacular and I would love to have that on my wall.
But the Skeletor is pretty great too.
