I am jealous of this George who owns the Gwen Stacey & Death sketch. I would totally buy that Chris Samnee Cyclops if he puts it up for sale. Great stuff top to bottom!
David Byrne doesn’t look so tense and nervous. Like he can’t relax. Looks pretty comfy on his bike.
Skottie Young needs to talk to Nintendo. His style is perfect for “Toon Link” (as he is reffered to in Super Smash Bros. BRAWL).

Every week this column makes me want to buy things I can’t afford. If I had lottery money or something I think I would be making Samnee and Young very well paid men just with their sketches.
That Gwen Stacy is pretty good.
But the cartoony- “Curse You!” fist in the air by Spider-Man seems a bit off.

@ericmci The Spider-Man with his fist in the air holding Gwen is the exact same pose from the death of Gwen Stacy issue so it fits with the image. I realize I sound really dorky pointing this out but that image is one of those that’s burned into my brain.

I love the Deadpool Marine, use of the multiple shades of grey pallet markers, unless its charcoal and ink but it like the prisma color markers I use for storyboards.
I too would like to buy the Cyclops, love he’s in he X-Factor costume, at least thats what I call it and picture it in blue n white not the navy blue n yellow. The Death and Gwen Stacy is awesome but agree with the “curse you” comment and think a Spiderman w his head down or on his knees pondering her tombstone would’ve been cooler.
