Does that Troll costume remind anyone else of the little girl from Monsters, Inc.?
I like how that panel from Batman can’t be distinguished from a regular Batman issue.
Can’t think of a favorite panel per say. But my favorite sequence this week was in ‘Hellboy: The Fury’. Where we see a flashback of the solider in WWI from the trenches to present day. A perfect example of how a colorist can make an issue.
Immonen drew the hell out of a classic Marvel Comic this week. His work there was very reminiscent of, say, “Atlantis Attacks” for instance.
That Wonder Woman panel was brutal! A great story moment as well. Here’s hoping we talk about it on the podcast. 🙂

Batman, “He’s behind me right?”
The Troll costume reminds me of the monster arc in Kevin Smith’s Green Arrow run.
The art from the Batman Flashpoint was just incredible and the panel design and layout was really refreshing. So many great moments in there.
The frear itself spread was quite nice and the brightspot in that book for me.
I was a big fan of the flash fail panel in flashpoint. Lots of disturbing images in this week’s books.
Immonen is unbelievable. I felt the ground shake when I turned the page to that image.
I should read Irredeemable.
