It’s all about Marvel this week! Avengers Prime and Young Avengers: Childrens Crusade are two of my favourite books being published so very happy to see them + last issue of Thanos Imperative! I am going to miss that!
Not to even mention Constantine mini series #3 and Chew #15 … going to be a good week! That T.H.U.N.D.E.R AGENTS thing from Nick Spencer looks really cool as well!
Although I thought 27 was out this week? Didn’t see it in the list…
a 4/20 party held on the 19th
They got me with this relaunch of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. I just want fun, solid superhero stories and the DC animated comics are where I hope to find that. I’m also stoked about the re-release of SUPERMAN VS. MUHAMMAD ALI.
8 comics and a trade. That’s a big week for me. Exciting!
Not much this week, I think just New Avengers and Emerald Warriors… cool. Not that it much matters since I get my books through DCBS, but whatever
BQ: Cinco de Diciembre – Corona, hawaiian shirts, shorts and flip flops… in 7 inches of snow
I’m interested in seeing how Return of Bruce Wayne ends. and of course generation lost. Spiderman Big Time could be interesting.

Might be most excited for Knight & Squire because the last one took me a week of Googling to understand what was going on. Infotainment at its best! Although Batgirl is the first superhero comic my gf has ever enjoyed, so we’re both excited for that too. Oh! And American Vampire. This is a good week!
BQ: Once went to a Chinese New Year Party where everone had to dress as their sign. I am an Ox, born on the last day of that Chinese year. So that was fun.
BQ: Every economics related party ever. Awkward pauses everywhere.
Big Fun Week for me! Amazing Spider-Man, American Vampire, Atomic Robo and the Deadly Art of Science, Chew, New Avengers, THUNDER Agents, and The Unwritten. I LOVE COMICS!!!
BQ:Literary parties are always strange because I’m around people arguing about proust and hemingway and all I have to offer are some factoids about Douglas Adams, Grant Morrison, and Greg Rucka.
Yea, I’m also curious what happened to 27. I didn’t see it on the midtown or previews websites either.
whenever Chew and Atomic Robo come out I consider converting over from issues to trade. It looks like a really light week for me.
BQ: I came home to a party at a house I shared with friends and the couch was on fire on the front lawn. That was a strange party.
Comic book guy #5 is what I’ll be grippin’ on, and Jack Daniel’s on the rocks is what I’ll be sippin’ on!
BQ: A bachelor party where my cousin was the stripper! See ya! Nuff said…
Holy shit I am so excited for Ant-Man and The Wasp.
BQ: One time I was in Philly with some friends, we went to this one apartment around 1 AM because my one friend said he knew someone there and they were having a party. There was straight up a threesome happening on the couch and a bunch of people doing blow off the kitchen counter. I left immediately. I mean I love to party but I draw the line right below the Axl Rose level of partying.
Oof! That’s an unprecedented week…15 singles, a trade and a HC…and some really good stuff. Nice to get the wrap up to Return of Bruce Wayne (shame about the art team), and then there’s the likes of Am Vampire, City of Demons, and the various Thor books. Booster Gold is getting dropped as the magic’s not there like I hoped it would be. Intrigued by Halcyon, tempted by Thunder Agents and hopeful for Big Time in Amazing Spidey.
I don’t really know what i am excited for this week. Maybe The Return of Bruce Wayne but not really. I’m interested in the next issue of Ultimate Thor, I love that character for some reason
BQ: I once somehow ended up with tickets to political fund raising party for a federal candidate called Maxine McKew…. boy, was she barking up the wrong tree.

BQ: I was a Freshman in college and a girl invited me to her birthday party. I didn’t really like her but I knew one other person going and thought it would be a good way to meet some people. Turns out that there were only 3 other students there, her parents (who were super old), and her youth pastor who cracked corny jokes and talked about sex awkwardly to sound cool…Wanted to die.
All my favorite DC books. Generation Lost, Red Robin, Booster Gold, and REBELS.
BQ: Masquerade Ball wedding. The Priest was also a high school teacher and he had his students write vows for the couple.
Looking forward the most to the new issue of Avengers Children’s Crusade but it seems mandatory to pick up the last issue of the Return of Bruce Wayne to see how Bruce returns and gets to the place he is in the Road Home/BaR books.

BQ: That would be the one where we had a boxing ring set up (gloves and everything) and I had to withstand jabs and the occasional uppercut sans retaliation from my still-pissed ex-girlfriend.

BQ: Never really been to a weird one. I avoid parties anyway. I’m kind of anti-social.
BQ: A local hospital closed. My roommates broke in and stole as many mattresses as they could get their hands on. We had a two story fort made out of soiled mattresses. Eventually it collapsed resulting in one friend launching out our (closed) front window and cutting a tendon in his hand, a girl breaking her ankle and another dude cracking some ribs.
Boostergold and Return of Bruce Wayne are on my list and I gonna pick up ASM to try.
BQ: I was invited to a party in college. I took a girl on a date, our first, I told her that we should stop by this party. We did. It was a swingers party. I didnt know ahead of time and she was pissed. Date over. It is still funny to me, the look on our faces. Priceless.
BQ: Acid party…it was an odd group and an even odder trip.
