UPDATE Scroll down to find out how you can get tickets to an advanced screening of X-Men: First Class!

They're screening X-Men: First Class in New York City at the Ziegfeld Theater tonight, and if you can't make it to the event, Marvel has kindly invited us all to watch the live stream of their chat with the cast beforehand!

Hosted by X-Men editor Nick Lowe, most of the cast will be on hand to talk about the upcoming movie. If you weren't jealous of Nick's job before, you will be when you see that scheduled to appear are James McAvoy (Professor Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto), Kevin Bacon (Sebastian Shaw), Rose Byrne (Dr. Moira MacTaggert), January Jones (Emma Frost), Lucas Till (Alex Summers/Havok), and Zoë Kravitz (Angel Salvadore)! There's no word on if Kevin Bacon will be wearing an ascot, but it's conceivable that he might.

That's quite a heavy list! Things get started at 5:50 PM EST.

  1. refresh…refresh…refresh… 🙂

  2. Man I wonder how long he has to keep this going. He has to keep on repeating the same information multiple times as new viewers drop in on the live broadcast.

  3. This is called the tap dancing to fill time portion of the show.

  4. Someone get Nick Lowe a water bottle.

  5. Why isn’t Ron on this thing?

  6. @j206  Probably the 3,000 miles between Ron and the camera.

  7. Man this is awkward.

  8. @j206  also I don’t work for Marvel…

  9. BACON!

  10. This is most ridiculous thing i’ve ever seen. although im being told that “it’s very very exciting!” 😛

  11. @conor – I was jesting. Still, weak excuse! No reason the preeminent X-fan on the web shouldn’t have been Nick Lowe’s co-host or something. Not only is Ron a huge fan. But he’s also the king of awkward banter. And the way this thing is going, these guys could use his help. lol.

  12. @ron – Shenanigans! Such minor details shouldn’t have stopped them. If it were up to me, you’d be the go-to X pitch man for all these on the net.

Off my joke platform for a second. Any of the iFan-guys getting a chance to see the film early?

  13. this turned out to be not as cool as I thought it would…

  14. Nick thinking he was asked to take a pictue with Rose….very awkward…as was most of this Live stream

  15. I honestly had a blast watching that – super excited for the movie even more now.

  16. This time next week I’ll be in the cinema watching this and my life will be swell

  17. I work for Budget and am loving the brand presence we are getting on the start of this vid!
