It’s no Superman, but it’s a “man” nonetheless

I was going through my e-mail and I completely missed that I got this notice in the ole’ in-box:

Sci-Fi Author Orson Scott Card to write Ultimate Iron Man.

For those of you who have no idea who he is, Card wrote the fantastic Ender’s Game series. That series alone makes this a potentially great thing for Marvel.

And another novelist comes and slums in the comics. But he’s a great writer, so I’ll be buying.

Comments

  1. I’ve never read Ender’s Game.

  2. Blasphemy

  3. I have seen Star Wars, though.

  4. I’ve read all 4 Ender books, and all 3 Bean books. Conor, find yourself a 6 dollar trade of Ender’s game and really enjoy some good sci-fi.

    I believe he’s a mormon as well.

  5. I LOVED Ender’s Game. I read all the Ender Books, but I haven’t read any of the Bean books. How good are they?

I’m giving away a copy for christmas. Any word on the movie?

I don’t LOVE Iron Man but this news is enough so that I will read it.

  6. I know nothing about the movie except that it is slated for 2006 and Wolfgang Petersen is attached to direct.

Apparently, Jake Lloyd is in it to star.

  7. THe Bean books are a great entrance back into that world. From a different perspective, that of Bean. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. GOod stuff. Really intelligent sci fi.
