This was a good one.
I really enjoy this show. How do they have such a good grasp on what makes a good Green Lantern story and the comics and movie are so wonky.
@Flan, I think a big part of it is that this show boils down the mythos to its simplest elements: GL and partners flying through space, fighting bad guys and making new discoveries. No Guardians/Oa, no Earth life of Hal Jordan, etc. Just a small group of friends kicking ass and having fun.
This is exactly what I loved about the old GLC series when Tomasi wrote it. Since the reboot it’s been too… heavy? It was always serious and a little dark, but now it’s kind of depressing.
@BionicDave, I agree 100% percent. That is what all GL stories should focus on. In the comics and in the movies.
