Forsooth!

Comments

  1. Wow, Marvel is really showing trailers for Thor, X-Men: First Class, and Captain America during the Super Bowl.  That’s some SERIOUS cash for advertising.  What does a 30 second commercial time slot cost this year?

  2. @TexasZombie99  Marvel Entertainment doesn’t pay for the advertising, the studios do. It’s part of the film’s budget.

  3. @TexasZombie99  I know, its rediculous. This is some great advertising on Marvel’s part. A thirty second commercial is about $3 million.

  4. Forsooth indeed.

  5. Look for this around 7:30pm EST.

  6. Not bad.

  7. Meh. That’s all I have to say about the tv spot. Boring.

  8. Looked good.  Interesting that it was preceded by a fantasy-inspired Coca-Cola commercial.  But I definitely liked it better than the Transformers commercial.

  9. I feel like it was 80% stuff we’ve already seen. That Monster and stuff was cool i guess.

I liked the Volkswagen//Darth Vadar ad that followed it A LOT better. Thats a commercial.

  10. That was a little bit o’ not much. In the time it took me to tweet, “Here we go!” it was over.

  11. Missed it due to getting beer. But the buzz seems to be that there wasn’t much new.

  12. I haven’t paid a heap of attention to the Thor movie notes, but … is that Thor or is that someone who claims the power of Thor?

  13. Really nothing new here to get excited for. Still excited for it no doubt. But this is just an edited version of the theatrical trailer with 1 new piece of footage (Hemsworth/Portman in the car).

Just a real quick side note: Did they even air the First Class trailer? Cause I never saw it and I was actually making sure to watch all the commercials.

  14. @JoshSHill  It’s Thor.

  15. I’m seeing more for this…and it’s not getting any better.

  16. i have my doubts about this one

  17. I still think Thor and Cap movies are looking good but these comercials didn’t excite me much.  Of course, the real targets were the millions of people watching who weren’t even aware of the movie yet.
