EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW – Madman Atomic Comics Vol. 3

The most recent run of Madman Atomic Comics by comics superstar Mike Allred was one of my favorite comics of the past few years.  After reading it in issues, I've been waiting to get it all collected, and now the last volume, Madman Atomic Comics, Volume 3: Electric Allegories is coming out next week and Image Comics has provided us with an EXCLUSIVE preview of SEVENTEEN pages from the 200 page trade paperback.

This volume brings an end to Allred's most exciting and innovative series of Madman, with every issue holding it's own bit of amazingness as Allred continued to experiment with his family of characters.  Not only does this volume contain the crossover between Madman and The Atomics and Red Rocket 7, but it also features a host of other creators contributing to the world of Madman, like Darwyn Cooke, J. Bone, Joelle Jones and Jamie S. Rich.  It also contains some awesome pin ups by James Jean, Craig Thompson, Dave Johnson and Jim Rugg!

Madman Atomic Comics, Volume 3: Electric Allegories is 200 pages and costs $19.99.  Pick it up on May 5th from your local comic book store, or you can pre-order it on Amazon.

  1. AWESOME!!!

  2. Beyond excited for this collection. Recently caught up with the Madman Atomica edition, have been dying for more. Ta for posting this Ron!

  3. Love the cover, Allred homaging himself from X-Force #116: http://www.comicsbulletin.com/soapbox/images/1001/X-force.jpg

  4. I used to be the worlds biggest Madman fan but for myself this thing is a shadow of it’s former fun glory days.  Don’t get me wrong I still want to love it and I’m almost tempted to give this thing a peek to see if they got back on course since I dropped the Image series some time ago.
