They weren't done in September. DC gave us exclusive coverage of yet another new series. My Greatest Adventure #1 will hit stands on October 12, and we're pretty sure you didn't see this one coming.
Written by Aaron Lopresti, Kevin Maguire, and Matt Kindt, with art by Lopresti, Maguire, Matt Ryan, and Scott Kolins, this 40 page issue will retail for $3.99 (bigger than the standard issue), and it will focus on the antics of Garbage Man and Tanga from Weird Worlds, and Robotman, of course. That is literally as much as we know.

I don’t know who any of these characters are, but the creative team is enough to have me intrigued. Let’s see how bad the wallet is hurting when this drops.

I love Tanga but think Garbage Man is dull and uninspired. Don’t know who Matt Kindt is and not a huge Scott Kolins fan, but I hope Robotman is fun.
Why no Lobo if grabbing the other two weird worlds characters? Garbage Man just seems like a lame version of Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol outta just have its own book again.

While I like Matt Kindt, I’m not sure how his writing will translate to mainstream books. Still, I’d buy anything with his name on it. I didn’t read the Weird Worlds mini, but Lopresti, Maguire, and Kolins are some of my favorite artists, so theres a good chance I’ll pick this up.
