Dark Horse Announces BILLY THE KID’S OLD TIMEY ODDITIES AND THE ORM OF LOCH NESS this October

One of our favorite things to come out of Dark Horse Comics has been the always entertaining Billy The Kid’s Old Timey Oddities.  Eric Powell (The Goon) and Kyle Hotz have been able to merge the wild west and some of histories greatest legends into a damn fine entertaining comic book, the way old timey comic books should be made.  So when our pals at Dark Horse Comics told us there was a new volume coming, well, we got pretty excited at iFanboy HQ.

Coming this October, Billy The Kid’s Old Timey Oddities and the Orm of Loch Ness will hit comic stands as Powell and Hotz come together again for a wild adventure. When we last saw Billy the Kid, he was in London dealing with that pesky Jack The Ripper.  Now we pick up the story as Billy The Kid and the other freaks in Fineas Sproule’s traveling circus are headed to Scotland  to rescue their friend Callahan, who’s very lizard-like from the clutches of Count Dracula.

Doesn’t that sound fun?  Well to help convince you, Dark Horse gave us the cover to issue #1 by Kyle Hotz, along with the variant cover by Eric Powell to share with you today.  And as if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got the cover to The Goon #43 from Eric Powell for you to drool a little bit over as well.
