July 15, 2010 – It's summer time and that means BBQ!  Ron Richards, Russ Cundiff and Filip Sablik gather to discuss their favorite BBQ spots around the country, as well as talk about some of their more recent meals around the world, and find some time to talk about comics as well!  C.B. Cebulski was still off galavanting around the world so he's not here this time around, but fear not, he will return next episode in our big San Diego episode!

  1. Maybe Jack in the Box is better in LA, but in Texas…no way.

And speaking of Texas, right now, here in Austin, my favorite two places are Mann’s BBQ, an old staple, and this new place, Franklin BBQ, thats located in a trailer, in a lot behind an old gas station off of the Interstate. Fuckin Awesome! They have an espresso sauce for their brisket that is unbelievable.

But I’m lucky, I can throw a rock in any direction around here and hit good BBQ. 🙂

  2. @AlanRob: if you live in Austin, you have got to go to Driftwood and eat at the Salk Lick. The place has the best brisket I have ever had. Ever.

  3. @bffnut   I have definitely been to the Salt Lick, and agree its some righteous stuff. And to top it off their homemade bread is killer, little loaves that you can pull slices off of, killer.

  4. Who’s the guy that’s typing on his keyboard the whole episode?
