February 7, 2012 3:43 pm I wonder if there are some shake ups going on behind the scenes of the Buffyverse (or at least just this half of it, A&F seem to be well and fine), or just some planned things. Looks like after this arc, Scott Allie is co-writing, and there is a different artist as well for the arc. Interested to see how they handle this pregnancy.

February 3, 2012 12:37 pm I am conflicted when it comes to Phil Noto. His work on his sketch blog and his covers are fantastic. But his interiors have left me wanting. I have a handful off issues he has done, X23, a Jonah Hex, and a recent Angel and Faith. The Jonah Hex one is pretty good, but they have felt lacking. But I'll keep buying one off issue's of his here and again, looking for the magic of his portraits and sketches.

February 2, 2012 12:51 pm Looking forward to Dragotta's art. Bobillo wasn't doing it for me, and didn't Dragotta do that silent issue after the Torch died? I really liked the art in that issue. If I recall, and its been awhile - but it had those funeral scenes, the scenes of Val in front of the classroom, AND the emotional Thing letting out his rage on the Hulk and Thor. Shit, that was a good issue. I'm going to go read that again I think.

February 1, 2012 9:18 pm I think the stuff that Rudy is doing was the stuff Francavilla was originally going to do. I believe I read or heard that he is no longer apart of the book. Too bad I would have loved to see his take on some of this, and the Swamp Thing.

January 28, 2012 9:29 pm I looked up the Nocturnes to see if they were a real band (that was the record he was playing in the hotel room) - but it doesn't appear that they were. THere is some modern industrial band that has that name - but I didn't find any evidence of any Nocturnes from the '50's. He was staying at the Holly Hotel, maybe a Buddy Holly reference...maybe I'm reaching.
