Great Moments in Comics History: The Avengers #18
May 13, 2012 11:43 pm I was thinking the same thing. He probably had to climb on top of the table to light them. He went to all that trouble and no one's there to join him.

May 10, 2012 10:32 pm I had the pleasure of meeting him after the Comic-Con last year. My wife's best friend is his niece and he was staying at her parents's house. So they invited me over to meet him. He was such a nice guy and had a great sense of humor. I asked him how he came up with the design for Jonah Hex...specifically his face and that weird mouth thing. He said that he was at the doctor's office and saw one of those human anatomy charts, where half the person is cut in half to show the internal organ, muscles, etc. When I thought about it, I could see it. I just thought that was fascinating. Anyway, I bought some art off of him and he did a sketch for me too. I'm thankful that I got to meet him when I did and I'm really sad to hear that he has passed away. Rest in Peace.

Mark Waid’s Thrillbent Presents INSUFFERABLE #1
May 1, 2012 2:19 pm I enjoyed this. I'm a fan of Irredeemable, so I definitely want to follow this. I read it on my Kindle Fire (horizontally) . It wasn't bad, but the page didn't fit exactly on the screen. I had to move the page up or down to see portions of the top or bottom. Some parts of the panel transitions were pretty cool. Especially the beginning when the villain taps on the screen and the panel switches from blurry to clear. I like how digi comics do that...a panel slightly changes without the reader having to move his / her eyes.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK #7
April 17, 2012 11:53 pm This hasn't clicked for me yet, but I'm sticking with it. Jason Aaron usually delivers. I want to find out what happened to Banner too.
