December 22, 2011 6:25 pm I think one of the best panels may have been out of Wolverine and the X-Men where Matt Murdoch served Kilgore with papers for the attack. I love the little Avengers crossover and it was done in a very simple, effective way. Though it was more than one panel.
August 1, 2011 5:39 pm I totally would boycott IF the money was supposed to be going to Kirby himself but Marvel refused. The logic is so faulty because the money is not going to Kirby, but his kids and heirs. Money is going to people who had nothing to do with the creation of something. My dad did some creative type of work for his employer, can I get money on that? Or should I do what he did, which is say that it's respect that they're still using your stuff. Kirby had great ideas, buy his stuff to show respect to the man and his legacy.
I wanted to see if anyone else noticed the shield cracks Conor mentioned. I thought they were cracks, but then they seemed to be 2 spots the sun is shining on it and its reflecting. I dont have the issue in front of me.
Also, Maria Hill's thing at the end was ok but long. I liked the prior "pre-game" discussions better from the last two. Bendis is so good at the everyone around the table discussion.
@Terry: He says 'not like this, not like this' while stumbling, then grabs the closest Kree and says 'like this!' and shoots up with the other guy. I think it would have been dumb if there was no plan for the character. But i also wish they showed him get some type of mortal injury, like a gaping chest wound to make it make more sense.
sorry, i just read it and New Avengers vol:1 a couple days ago.
yes on the pick and good review.
