AVENGERS #9
April 10, 2013 8:32 pm I really feel like Weaver gave his all with this arc though -- and in a sense, having Deodate pop up is a good warm up to the next few issues. Can't say I'm completely stoked that he's doing art on this, but it should be OK (and Casselli is next, so I can't complain.) In any case, probably the best art I've seen from Weaver...Too bad he couldn't finish (he's probably already illustrating INFINITY, now that I think of it...) That brain stuff on the beach: amazing.

April 10, 2013 1:33 pm I was ready to call this the best issue yet, until it devolved into Deodato's awful psychedelia-battle sequence montage. The Dyson sphere reveal has me intrigued, though -- and I can't wait to go back and decode all the glyph-speak.

April 8, 2013 10:05 pm Sorry, I bracketed a SPOILER WARNING, but it disappeared...because I bracketed it ?! I don't feel too bad, though, 'cause like I say, it's an alternate story-type thing and the F4 are definitely OK in this.

April 8, 2013 10:03 pm I can't imagine it being relevant because, well it showed the whole of F4 dying except for Sue -- and the kids, stuck in space. I have no idea what's going in Age of Ultron and how that can even happen. Only adding fuel to the rumors that it's an alternate timeline. From the previews of this, everybody's alive and fine.

March 28, 2013 1:46 am Well, holy crap, that was AMAZING....but what the hell? AoU HAS to be taking place in a parallel universe, otherwise this makes NO sense. I guess we'll see with issue #6, if at all.... Aruajo is a beast. The closest we'll get to Moebius doing F4....
