June 17, 2013 11:22 am Good review Paul, I agree. This movie was not a throwaway or a complete miss but definitely left a lot to be desired. I thought Amy Adams was a terrible choice for Lois Lane (though I love her in other roles) and large portions of the movie rang hollow. Kudos for trying new things but the focusing so much on brooding and spectacle left no room for me to connect with the new Superman, to understand him or to want to do either. 3/5.
