@USPUNX:  I agree.  That last silent page with Nick was great.  You really get a sense of where his head is at.

I'm looking forward to the focus switching back to the team.  I'm really enjoying Daisy's story.  She's one of my favourtie characters and judging by the cover teases I've seen for the next arc, it looks like she's a primary player.

I'm also missing Caselli on this book.  I didn't like Vitti's work at all at first, but it's starting to grow on me.  I still have some gripes with it, though.  I hope Caselli stays on the title even though he's going to be one of 3 artists teaming up with Slott on the new Spider-man bi-weekly.

This issue was great.  I enjoy keepin up month to month, but am hoping to pick the series up in a nice collected hardcover later on.

I've been picking up this comic based solely on Williams art and have found Rucka's writing to be a little convoluted and hard to get into.  That changed with this issue.  The art continues to be great, and Rucka hit all the right notes on this one.  Great issue, just barely inching past Fantastic Four for my POTW.  5/5.  As for the Question "co-feature", it hasn't really grabbed me yet.  I have no background with the character, nor do I feel I know much after the first arc.

I don't know a lot about Wonder Woman.  I haven't really read any.  And yet, I feel like she's a character that could and should be great, and just isn't.

This may be largely in part due to the fact that I think her costume is ridiculous.

October 29, 2009 5:18 pm I now have issues 3-5 sitting at home unread.  That's how great I thought #1 and #2 were.

My LCS didn't get their copies of this issue.

Related:  Neither did I.

October 29, 2009 5:15 pm I really enjoy this series, but Vitti's art just doesn't do it for me.  Really looking forward to Caselli's return next issue.  I have to go back and read this again, because it was in a stack with Detective Comics, Fantastic Four, and last weeks Power Girl, so it had a lot to compete with, and to tell the truth, I can't remember much about the story.
October 29, 2009 5:12 pm I've never been a fan of the FF, but this book is all kinds of awesome.  So good.  Would have been been my POTW this week if Rucka's writing hadn't finally caught up with Williams' art on Detective.  Eaglesham's work here is also fantastic.  Looking forward to the next arc.
