May 1, 2015 7:48 pm Man, I've been listening to this show since 2010, I never comment, but I'm a loyal fan of the podcast, and there's something really awesome and nostalgic about hearing the three of you go off on a tangent about cinemas. As for the movie, I thought it was...well I enjoyed it, but there's only so much of seeing superheroes dismantling faceless armies one can watch before becoming bored. ...Ultron was awesome.
November 8, 2012 11:36 am But, but, Hellblazer is my favorite comic series, and John Constantine is one the best characters in comics. As someone who's British, and lives really near London, it appealed to me immensely. I don't think Americans (and this isn't an insult) can understand quite how mired in English tradition Constantine is. The commentary about London, the aging punk attitude, the fuck the queen motto, it all a part of underground British culture. It wasn't a popular series, but the thing the writers always got was that it captured the spirit a country, (or at least part of the rebellious spirit). Having Americans write him just isn't right, he's a character born from a English mind, he was nurtured by English writers, and his entire persona was based on British people. I'll miss the book immensely.
October 8, 2012 5:31 pm I hate -hate-hate living in England when it comes to cons, and I'm so upset I couldnt attend this one. Grant Morrison is my favourite writer of all time and I would have loved to attend this. However, just the fact it exsisted and we succesful makes me happy. You guys tried something new and it didnt bomb. Thats a great thing to accomplish. Also, its lovely that my favourite writer got a con dedicated to him. Just have one in England, someway somehow :P
May 11, 2012 3:09 pm And Josh is so apathetic :P

May 2, 2012 3:33 pm This is why I havent really read any Avengers stories, I can find the old style classics, but I just cant get into the writing, and i'm not a huge fan of Bendis. I'm looking forward to a new writer come on, I'm glad everyone else enjoyed Bendis (those who did) but he's been on it for a while and change can be a good thing. :) But yeah, solid top ten list, i've read most of these and do appreciate the classics.
May 1, 2012 2:19 pm Why couldnt it be in England, or at least the UK, he's scottish. :'( Wah, I wish I could come. I hope it goes great though.
January 25, 2012 5:20 pm This was the one comic I pulled this week, so I decided to skip this week and wait till next Wednesday to get my comics, but hearing that Superman and Flash were trying to outrace the OMEGA beasms, and the fact that Darkseid is absolutley my favourite villain ever (aside from Joker) makes me so sad I have to wait till next week :'(
January 25, 2012 5:12 pm Cause I feel overly negative, I will say I'm excited to for Cullen Bunn on Wolverine, I really like Six Gun, and kinda thing he could be a name someday soon, so will definately be giving that a go. :)
January 25, 2012 5:08 pm ohhhhhhhh, I really, really do not care about Avengers vs X-men, but I love Wolverine and the X-men, well here's hoping one of my favourite can remain awesome while dealing with some seemingly Civil Was esque event. And omg Iron Man vs Magneto...wow, so awesome, cant wait. Cause after all the reason I read comics is to see two people fight in bombastic brawls that have no consequence and will be forgotten in two years. Wow...I wont read it, but I woulda thought Marvel would give it a year or two before doing another event, cauuuuse Fear Itself...didnt really increase sales.
