February 23, 2012 5:09 pm Since the "conversation" relayed in the article is sparse at best, how would you propose that conversation go without presuming anything about gender? How would it have looked different if the conversation was about getting to know you?
January 30, 2012 1:39 pm that's awesome... I will not pause the big screen on sunday to show everyone who comes over that Mike is on teh big screen. (By everyone.. i mean my family members who haven't abandoned our family football watching time)
January 3, 2012 12:37 pm Well.. she cut a hole in the box.. and then...
December 19, 2011 3:47 pm Not a horrible week of books.. BQ: 48 hours? Awake. The last time I ran a disaster recovery test as an enterprise architect, I stayed up through the 2 1/2 days of the test. Every time I thought I could got pass out, something would go wrong and would suck me in. We had failed the test a few times in a row and I didn't want to deal with that again. So, I stayed up, worked through the problems, and finally passed out after the test was over. I resigned two weeks later.
December 8, 2011 11:57 am I plan on getting a few SW comics this christmas..i can't wait.. and.. as an unrelated aside..the radio station I'm listening to was about to go to break. As I scrolled through this story, I hit the image of "The Other Side" and, at the same instant, the radio station used the Doors tune as a bumper. It was a bit freaky.

December 2, 2011 4:22 pm There isn't much to be said beyond this. If I weren't already an iFanboy subscriber.. I'd subscribe to your newsletter. Over the course of a few cons, I played iFanboy bingo. Finally finishing my bingo card a few years ago at SDCC when I met Josh and asked him about how it he was holding up being a dad. Honestly, there isn't any comic question I wanted to ask. I had a kid around the same time as Josh and it was the first thing I could think of. It may have been creepy. I tend to think not.
November 30, 2011 1:43 pm Sorry to hear about the data loss.. knowing how you earn your living (and being in a similar industry), I had to chuckle. Been there.. recovered that. I started to read this article and I couldn't think much beyond how happy I am that my comics are now safely being collected digitally in the various places where I buy them. No more storage. No more trips to a store. No more potential for loss. I look at my long boxes and I can't imagine ever going back to any of those single issues to read particularly. The treadmill of reading weekly comics makes long box diving an ordeal I never even consider. while I'm thinking about it.. i should go clean up my stored single issues and donate 85% of them.
September 15, 2011 5:13 pm Given the relaunch, I was convinced this story would have been tongue in cheek about starting at Justice League #1. Good list as is, I've read a few of the stories but intend to pick up some of the others.
