February 28, 2010 5:28 pm Scalped was amazing, def my pow. totaly agree with you on FF. it's a bunch of ideas in search of a story. hope it comes together. as for new avengers, the whole multiple Cap returns usally wouldn't bother me but 3 of them were writen by the same guy. It's one thing if it was by a bunch of different creators but when one writer can't keep it consistent it seems amateurish.
March 27, 2009 5:58 am I never had much interest in The Darkness or Witchblade (though I did actual enjoy the TV show) but 5 bucks for a 6 issue trade may be too good to pass up. Also, if The Core is like Dune I hope it manages to come out somewhere if not at Top Cow.

Wow, this was...not good. Like really not good. In fact one could go so far as to say it was bad, cause, you know, it was. Yes it is very violent and Stevenson was good but everything else was really...amateurish. The lighting and editing make it look like a video game or music video, a lot of the dialogue is bad, and the acting, aside from Stevenson, is terrible. Quite frankly it's not a Punisher film, it's just another cheesy action film only the main character has a skull on his chest. He never seems, psychologically, like the person from the comics. I think they were afraid to make him too... what's the word... psychotic seriel killeresq. None of the supporting characters have any depth and I hate the background the give to Castle, Special Forces Trainer? Fuck that. This is a man who was down in the shitstorm it's important to acknowledge that he'd seen action well before become the Punisher. And the bit in the church? Random, and a terrible spot for it. Also he has no tactics. Even at the end it's the cop who thinks to tell the russian where he can find Jigsaw.

So in conclusion; he cuts off a dudes head, uses a rocket to blow up a guy in mid-air, throws a guy onto spikes after kneecaping him, kills a ton of random gangsters, and watches a guy burn to death after stabing him with a steel pole. Wow this movie sound fucking great, it's a shame that it totally isn't.

November 23, 2008 2:25 am Yes it follows that, they just renamed it after issue 50
November 22, 2008 11:22 pm @nabus19 -  Miss Sinister is part of the new Marvel mandate to make all old villains in to females their by making them hip and relevant again. Plus people were complaining that their weren't enough women running around in swimsuits.

The delays are definitely hurting this book I was a third of the way through the issue before I remembered what was going on. It's really depressing to me as I thought for the first two years that this book was as good a comic as was being published.

On a positive note Harris once again shows that he is one of the best cover artists in the world.
