Could this be a play on words? I am New Avenger, on the new Avengers team (as seen in Avengers #1)?
Like I am a New Canadian or New Olympic Athlete?
Maybe the Avenger book will have two artists? JRJR does an arc with the core group, and then Stuart does the next arc with a different group, and so on? Keep's the book on time, keeps the quality high, and leaves JRJR free for other projects?
Just a suggestion for further DC animated podcasts, if you have time, can you discuss the bonus features (i.e. the documentaries on the 2nd disc)? Those are one of the things I look forward to the most when I buy an animated DC dvd, but felt pretty burned by the GL:First Flight one, and to a lesser extant, Superman/Batman.
from cbr:
"“It’s very exciting to return to Opal City. And I’m trying to do a story that’s satisfying for long-time fans of ‘Starman’ and also fans of the 'Blackest Night’ series,” said Robinson. “The only thing I will say now, probably to the disappointment of some fans, is that this is not the return of Jack Knight. This will feature cast members of ‘Starman’ and it will feature a Black Lantern Starman but it will not feature Jack Knight."
Any idea if the special features are worth the second disk?
Usually the documentaries they make for these are good, but I felt a bit burned by the contents of the Green Lantern disk (especially since it seemed to be more of a promo tool for Blackest Night).
Well this is going to suck for LCS's.. yes its the holidays, but having a potential double ship week is going to hurt them. I know the store I worked at will have trouble displaying a double week of titles, and a lot of people will not buy more books, because there are more out there, they might actually get critical and drop books.
I wonder how publishers are going to deal with this.
I need to become an optimist.
If you haven't done a show on it / mentioned it: Hitman
