May 16, 2011 11:48 am Covers like this make me miss Seth Fisher.
May 16, 2011 11:48 am To be clear, I didn't mean for my post to come out as "this has been done before" but more of a comment how I had been thinking how great an idea images of tomorrow was (at its core). Its awesome that Chew took this, and likely did it in a way more organic way than those books did.
May 15, 2011 9:14 pm Funny-- I was thinking about how Image did the whole 'Image of Tomorrow' event back in the 90's were a lot of the books printed their 25th issues (sometimes) years in advance. It's cool to see this idea come back.
April 4, 2011 2:47 pm It would have been interesting to make the price point 5.99 (which is probably too expensive), but put two reprints in the issue. The issue before and directly after the new story.
March 8, 2011 7:46 pm @Tup  Big UNITY fan here-- even loved the proposal/bible for Unity 2000

Valiant never really gets the love it deserves as its tied to the whole 90's bubble.

bit confused by this-- the article makes it sound like a potential replacement for the MARVEL DCU plan-- is this the case? Say what you want about how awful the DCU reader is, $60 a year for unlimited access to a large library is a great deal.

If Graphically is offering DRM'd downloads to offer a similar service I'm in, but if its pay 1.99 per issue, not so much.

July 6, 2010 2:59 pm Adams wrote a lot of his Deadman run, and I think he plotted some of his Marvel work. I'm pretty sure he also wrote a fair amount of his Continuity Comics/advertising output.

Could this be a play on words? I am New Avenger, on the new Avengers team (as seen in Avengers #1)?

Like I am a New Canadian or New Olympic Athlete?

Maybe the Avenger book will have two artists? JRJR does an arc with the core group, and then Stuart does the next arc with a different group, and so on? Keep's the book on time, keeps the quality high, and leaves JRJR free for other projects?

Just a suggestion for further DC animated podcasts, if you have time, can you discuss the bonus features (i.e. the documentaries on the 2nd disc)? Those are one of the things I look forward to the most when I buy an animated DC dvd, but felt pretty burned by the GL:First Flight one, and to a lesser extant, Superman/Batman.
