October 21, 2011 11:21 am Great job, Josh. A mean-spirited douchebag with a ten year old's sense of humor. Pathetic getting his rocks off making fun of people who are enjoying something they love. He probably doesn't have anything he feels that kind of passion for so anyone who does feel that needs to be mocked. Screw him!
October 13, 2011 5:29 pm Instead of giving the book over to another relic from the 80's/90's, why don't they give it to one of their up-and-coming guys? If you're trying to hook in new readers and create excitement, I don't see why these are the people they are going to. They've got guys like Edmonson and Costa, why not give them a shot? This is like if Marvel had decided to put Chris Claremont on Ultimate Spider-man instead of Bendis back in 2000.
September 26, 2011 1:26 pm Looks awesome! Very excited for this.
August 31, 2011 10:44 am Just finished reading it and I have to say I'm disappointed. Sure the decompressed storytelling is an issue, but for me the big problem is that there is really nothing here we haven't seen before. There is very little "new" about this book. Green Lantern and Batman bicker as always, Batman is suspicious of everyone, etc. It feels like an origin book that could have come out ten years ago. Maybe it's the hype, but I was really looking forward to a fresh take on these characters, not just retreads. Hopefully I'll get this in the other 51 books.
July 19, 2011 3:56 pm I really wish the went the route of Incredible Hulk and recapped the origin in the opening title sequence, especially since the other Spidey films are so recent.  It looks okay but I'd just like to skip past him getting bit, Uncle Ben dying and Peter becoming Spider-man.
July 1, 2011 12:20 pm @ericmci  The Spider-Man with his fist in the air holding Gwen is the exact same pose from the death of Gwen Stacy issue so it fits with the image.  I realize I sound really dorky pointing this out but that image is one of those that's burned into my brain.

Did Ron buy the Cyclops yet?
June 8, 2011 10:28 am I bet millions of new readers will be flocking to their ipads for Hawk and Dove 1.  There are a lot of these new titles that I don't think will be around a year after they come out.
June 7, 2011 10:24 am I was really hoping for Tomasi on Nightwing so he could continue his excellent run with the character that was tragically cut short with R.I.P.

I hope this doesn't mean Dick is going to fade into obscurity again.  He's been such a major player in the DCU over the past few years and I'd be very disappointed to see him shuffled off to the side and forgotten.
June 2, 2011 1:46 pm What's with DC's big push to make artists into writers recently?
