February 6, 2013 11:13 pm I guess I'm the opposite. This is the issue where everything clicked for me. I have the feeling I'm going to like this series better than his other Avengers series.
February 6, 2013 11:11 pm sigh.
February 6, 2013 11:06 pm I read this through about issue three, but quit b/c I didn't like the art and felt the story was lacking in that particular Mieville flair I love in his novels. Is there a good jumping on point so I don't have to get all the back issues?
November 1, 2012 2:48 pm I'm theoretically opposed to Lobdell on Superman, and I didn't like the annual. But I *mostly* liked the first regular Superman issue he wrote and I like the idea of Clark Kent quitting from the Daily Planet. Is he becoming a blogger? or did I hear a false rumor?
November 1, 2012 2:46 pm Here's another example of Todd McFarlane, in Ron's words, "homaging himself." Originally Amazing Spiderman #316. He signs it "McFarlane, parody of Todd." Does that make it better? http://www.comicvine.com/news/best-comic-covers-of-the-week-8312/145013/?page=3&sort=first
September 6, 2012 12:25 am I <3 Ultimate Spiderman. Wowzers.
September 1, 2012 10:20 pm Yeah, I'm surprised Aquaman ever let anyone else lead the JL team. He makes a really good argument (Batman's talents aside) for why he should be the leader. Batman can still give tactical advice without leading everyone.
September 1, 2012 10:18 pm I'm glad people are still liking GL. I left after the end of Blackest Night, came back for the annual, and didn't see anything that seemed all that different from what Johns was doing previously. So, I probably won't come back.
September 1, 2012 10:16 pm This is the only Valiant book I've gotten (except the first issues of Harbinger and Bloodshot, which were never my cup of tea in the 90s) since the relaunch. Too bad they don't still have the rights to Solar. I'll probably check out Shadowman when it arrives. How was Archer and Armstrong?
