October 18, 2012 5:43 pm I'd go one step further. I love Comics and used to be a monthly reader. However I just can't keep up with monthly releases. To time consuming. To expensive. Nothing compares to reading a good story in TPB format where I can start and stop as needed or read the whole thing through in one sitting if desired. I would suggest going to an exclusively TPB format with staggered releases of different titles throughout the year. This is going to be an extremely unpopular opinion and not great for retailers but from a reader and creator perspective as well as long term industry outlook I feel like this makes the most sense.
April 18, 2010 8:24 pm This book kicks ass and I'll continue to support it by picking it up monthly.
April 3, 2010 5:57 pm I started reading comics again a year ago after a 15 year layoff. The most disappointing thing I came across was the state of the X-books. I grew up on the Lee, Silvestri, Claremont X books and what I saw wasn't cutting it.The cast of characters seemed weak, the stories dull and the art not so good. I gave Utopia a try and even Silvestri's art on the first issue couldn't save it. But THIS. THIS is what the X-Mean should be. Had me feeling all nostalgic. Seeing the "Alpha" team brought a smile to my face. Tthe story was great and Finch's art was perfect for the book. I only wish he was doing more issues. I think I will be on board for the whole crossover. Hoping to not be disappointed.
March 4, 2010 5:53 pm A little disappointed by the pregnancy angle. I just finished reading Walking Dead in trades and it just seems too similar. Jeppard is a great character though and there is a lot of interesting stuff to like in this book. I look forward to seeing how it plays out.
February 4, 2010 8:54 am Crazy good. Wish I could give this a 6.
February 2, 2010 9:21 pm Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Rawer than JH but not as stylistic. Great changeup. Wish they could alternate every arc. Hmmm, this or Chew for POTW....
February 2, 2010 8:58 pm @Slockhart And why does Bucky roll with the lamest gun ever. Really? A small handgun? Not very Captain like. Peashooter. With all the tech around its weak. At least make it like a .44 or someting. Looks like a damn German Luger or something. The Spidey Spidey Woamn scene was well done but for real whats up with the lame ass villains? With everything going on and this supposed to be a Seige "tie-in" pretty weak. Why can;t marvel do a cohesive crossover? Their Seige books are all over the place.
January 11, 2010 8:18 pm It will be crap as long as Sony is involved and so much  is at stake. Can't amke a good super hero film once to many suits get involved. See Spiderman 3, X 3 and Wolverine (1st half great last half a disaster...hey let's give him ALL the powers!.) I thought SpiderMan was good but a litle slow, 2 was better but no as good as everyone made it out to be a 3 was middling to bad. This reboot will be TERRIBLE. Now Kick Ass on the other hand will be, well....KICK ASS.
November 28, 2009 6:15 pm Was excited for this and extremely let down. Art experiment did not go over well. They seemed to make each other even more disjointed and worse. Unfortunate. Hopefully it gets better.
November 28, 2009 6:07 pm Unbelievable! First 2 issues were good but this one killed it. I actually flashed back to being a kid and seeing Superman 1/2 for the first time. Magical. Def POTW.
