September 12, 2012 11:17 am I find this series very interesting. I am a Christian and I wonder what I would do if there really was a TV series like this. I wonder if I would be a member of the NAC. I would probably want to rescue Chris and his mother from the evil TV directors and protect them.

June 20, 2012 3:05 pm we need more people like sitara119 and Jvanvic who support women who are into comics! As a woman who goes to comic shops, I am sick of the overall snarky vibe I get. I happen to love American Vampire comics. I am also into The Dark Tower Series and The Stand Series. I also read Road Rage. (Of course I am a huge Stephen King fan.)

February 5, 2012 6:05 pm While reading this comic arc, I went to Rhaspody and typed in 1950's music. I got 1950's greatest hits. First song is The Everly Brothers "All I have to do Dream" I sing this song when I look at Skinner Sweets picture. (jk)

February 5, 2012 5:56 pm He could be "Gus" (child cured of vampirism) That would mean that Felica Book was murdered by Skinner Sweet (I KNEW HE WASN'T DEAD!) Or Travis could be the offspring of Peal and Henry. I know vampires are not supposed to be able to have children, but if Twilight can mess with vampire rules so can American Vampire. And hey maybe "American Vampires" are able to produce children? I am eagerly awaiting the rest of this story arc to find out who Travis is.

January 9, 2012 3:56 pm I have not noticed that much of a gender issue. I have bee a comic fan for over 5 years. I have always been treated with respect at comic shops. The comics I read,(The Dark Tower Series, American Vampire, The Stand) all have positive female characters. (Especially American Vampire Pearl rules!) Of course I usually don't pay attention to what people think of me what I do and I do my own thing.
