March 19, 2012 8:28 pm I would agree that ASM can be hit and miss but when it's hit I can't miss. Wow that was lame. Sorry.
March 19, 2012 5:59 pm I really like how Simon Roy never takes a panel off.
March 19, 2012 5:50 pm I think issue #6 was one of the best issue of Batman I've read. I love the page when Batman is being attacked and sees the picture of Alan Wayne. His body has been destroyed, he's taken all this punishment but Batman can't give up. It's not in him to. So good. Always look forward to this.
March 6, 2012 6:06 pm I think it's just a variant cover with all of them in red. The interior art has them wearing their individual colors. As far as continuity, I'm not sure where it fits in but it's nice that IDW can give a few issue of TMNT without having to buy all of the Infestation tie ins. It's a complete story of it's own.
March 6, 2012 5:38 pm I saw the word Portland and immediately assume this was a book about hippies, trees and rain.
February 23, 2012 4:38 pm This is excellent! Picking up 21 for sure.
February 21, 2012 6:41 pm Comic readers are a curious bunch. They have to be to spend money to find out what’s happened to a bunch of paper people. We care about these people. But familiarity breeds contempt. I mean that in the sense that we’ve all seen how this works. I’ve found that independent comics can feel fresher because its usually a new character that hasn’t been around for X amount of years. No baggage or continuity. I’ve never really lost a sense of curiosity but if I did maybe a media fast would be necessary. With everything being a click away, it’s easy to get over saturated with entertainment and stories and such. Finding new ways to satisfy curiosity would be the best way to change perspective and like you say, come back with new eyes and enjoy them. Good article Mike!
February 20, 2012 10:41 pm This book looks so bizarre, I've got to give it a look. Does anyone know why they didn't renumber it?
February 20, 2012 6:14 pm There's times when I've bought Deadpool and thought,"I spent 3 bucks on that?!" and others where it's great. Dead has been good.
February 17, 2012 6:06 pm Right after seeing that two page spread in Daredevil, it was like, "Why are you not reading this regularly?"
