August 29, 2013 8:53 pm I guess I need it spelled out for me. Which Earth are the respective Supermen/Batmen from? If grownup Supes is from Earth then why isn't his costume like Supes in the main books? If Tshirt Superman is from Earth 2 does that mean the first arc of Action Comics was on Earth 2? How many alternate universe stories can one Superman be a part of at one time? I guess the new 52 was referring to parallel universes and not the number of books. C'mon somebody help me get this straight and then maybe I can be excited about how wonderful the book is.
August 28, 2013 8:14 pm This has been one of the best iterations of Thor since he debuted. I hope Jason Aaron can keep it up. Every issue has been a must have!
August 28, 2013 8:10 pm Oh come on now. I would have been thrilled if there had been a link at the end that showed how or what Pandora had to do with the whole Flashpoint event that led to the New 52 and gave some nod to the old continuity having existed. Instead we get a poor man's Mirror Universe retread and we suddenly discredit the whole magical/mythological implications of Pandora's box and go the "advanced science" route. AAARGHHH!
August 28, 2013 8:03 pm Can't wait to read this! As far as I'm concerned the Illuminati is a great concept!
August 28, 2013 8:02 pm I didn't care for this whole arc. It just did not do anything for me the way the Brubaker run did. I stuck it out in hopes that it would begin to peak my interest. However, that is not the case and I'm sure after this conclusion I'll drop it. Makes me sad because Cap is my favorite character.
August 28, 2013 7:57 pm I was on the verge of dropping this title because the whole 1st King storyline just didn't grab me. However, reading this issue digitally was really great today. It was planned very well and the way Aquaman being unconscious played out on my iPad really added to the story. I'll stick around to see what happens next.
August 28, 2013 7:55 pm I guess I'm in the minority on this one. I've enjoyed it as a character piece that delves into the development of an intergalactic serial killer.
August 22, 2013 1:44 pm I like this book. I thought General Lane's accusing Superman of being a coward and a mass murderer was an interesting take that I don't remember seeing before. I look forward to seeing how this line of thought affects him. As for the art, good art is good art. Jim Lee draws well and I don't think "90s style" is a fair description. On the other hand, I've always hated the new 52 costume design for Superman. How does the collar and the sleeve extensions work when he's dressed as Clark? We won't even get into what possible purpose they could serve (especially the sleeve extensions)!
August 22, 2013 1:37 pm I LOVED this issue even more than Infinity 1! I felt it really did a great job of setting up a galactic coalition and the sense of impending war very well. Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out. The only book I enjoyed more was this weeks issue of Ultimates!
August 22, 2013 1:32 pm Amen and AMEN! This has been one of the most poorly written events I've ever read. So disappointed.
