I haven't seen the show, because I thought the trailer was horrible, but culture that is tailor-made for certain audience is cheap pandering and not worth the ammount of words used here. If you ask Maurice Sendak, or would have asked CS Lewis, about their target audience, the answer would have been, I just write.
