This is one of the best comics I’ve read this year, and the first one that had me laughing out…

July 29, 2013 4:19 pm BATMAN ANNUAL #2 UNCANNY X-MEN #9 X-MEN #3 THE WAKE #3 SEX #5 BQ: Oldtown, Seat of House Hightower, in Westeros.
May 28, 2013 4:17 pm Same here. Much like in House of M, Quicksilver will be the culprit in a dystopic reality, in which everybody gets what they want but nobody is truly happy about it.
May 24, 2013 1:24 pm That Angel by Coipel. So haunting. Just look at his eyes. Greatest piece of this batch, in my humble opinion.
May 22, 2013 3:17 pm So bittersweet. Johns brought me back to comics after a 10-year hiatus, and he made my favourite DC character shine like never before. Thank you for the stories, Mr. Johns, and here's to a light that never goes out.
May 10, 2013 1:00 pm Cantankerous Josh is the best Josh. Thank you for the laugh!
May 10, 2013 12:17 pm Ditto. Too bad the show didn't last longer than a season, killed by the very stupid American audiences it blasted in that speech.
April 25, 2013 9:42 am Those time-travel issues on Fantastic Four were my absolute favourites. I wish Bendis would use some of the concepts that those stories brought to the MU.
April 25, 2013 6:31 am Uncanny Avengers is finally picking up. But it's far from being Marvel's flagship book, as it was once billed (Hickman's Avengers fits that description on story and merits). Remender and Acuna are very talented creators, but it seems the premise of this book is as stale as the summer crossover it spawned out of. It still feels to me as editorially-driven comics, instead of a great Remender story (as Uncanny X-Force was). Marvel mustn't try and turn this book into a win, if you know what I mean. ;-)
April 18, 2013 12:56 pm I laughed out loud at this one. After Schism and AvX, Magneto should do this to Logan at least once a month.
April 16, 2013 7:42 am Very light week fot me: Chew, Age of Ultron, Justice League - and The Private Eye, a few weeks late. BQ: I love Canada from coast to coast, but Montreal is the most charming city on the planet. As far as natural landmarks, I'd have to agree with a previous poster and say that Lake Louise is breathtaking.
