Disappointing. Not much else to say about it, but I’ll try. After hearing and reading interviews with Jeff Smith, I…

November 27, 2008 2:53 pm @thenextchampion, i think a lot of it has to do with pannel layout. i don't think a crooked pannel for crooked pannel sake it all that... interesting. it just comes off as noise to me. how cool would this book be with Eric Canete drawing it.
November 26, 2008 7:29 pm i love this series but am not a fan of the art. in fact i missed last issue because of it. i'm going to go back and pick it up though as well as this one. don't get me wrong, the guy is a good artist, its just not doin it for me. its a  personal taste thing.
November 20, 2008 4:51 am mike allred is the man. i'm not going to pretend that i've always been a fan, but i've become one of his with this new madman series. and as far as him talking about what he believes, good for him. (although Ron looked a little unsettled. that was pretty funny to watch) it takes way more balls to express yourself and tell people about this thing that you think about and believe that to sit idlly by and never do a thing about it. in a sense, move backwards. its nice to see that the dude can do that and not get blasted for it... on this forum at least. good interview guys.
November 17, 2008 2:35 am congratulations. i know i can take credit for about onehundredandfiftyeight of those. keep it up.
August 13, 2008 2:17 am this is one of those rare books that i jump on the first issue, for some reason it dosen't click, i keep hearing about and come back to give it a second go round. i can addmit when i am wrong, and i was wrong, this book rocks.

i just gotta say, to all those who cry that this isn't a higher pull, stop. i'm not sayin this is bad, its just not  everyones thing. its probably written great, but if its not a story people are clickin with, why read it. its so irritating to hear how 'if you don't like this, you don't like good comics.' not so. i love good comics, just not this one.

and i've given this book 2 trades. 2.

i don't hate bendis, quite the opposite, just not this bendis.

@ headn00b

pick it up and go with it. i've read most everything Mignolaverse and even the references have references. this is an on going arc and to be honest, its all writen for the trade and sometimes is frusterating to read in issues. but i love it and need them now, so i buy it in issue.

June 10, 2008 3:11 am the title alone is brillant. can't wait.
May 23, 2008 12:56 am i loved the movie. not my favorite jones movie but i loved it still. my only quarle is, in the past the only 'special' effects were the supernatual elements, everything eles was practical effects and real stunt work. this, at times, crossed over into 'the mummy' territory. but still, loved the movie. harrison has still got it.

ron, your the easiest one to 'guess' what the pick of the week is going to be. young liars, glamourpus, ect.

that said, i agree. this was just plain fun. this is the first spidey i've picked up in a long while. glad i did.
