ANIMAL MAN #21
June 19, 2013 4:53 pm This issue has finally got me excited for Animal Man once again!
Rotworld really put unnecessary strain and pressure on this title but now Lemire seems in his element. Even Steve Pugh's art seems a lot more free and natural, his best issue to date.
I'd urge people to pick this up if they abandoned Animal Man previously.

BATWOMAN #21
June 17, 2013 6:31 pm I'm pretty sure this is my favourite DC title at the moment. The storyline has not always been gripping but the writers have really got me invested in the characters especially Kate Kane.

BATMAN #21
June 13, 2013 8:49 am A decent opening issue but that back up was unnecessary and tacky. I'd much prefer just an extended issue of the main story.

SUPERMAN: UNCHAINED #1
June 10, 2013 2:37 pm I refuse to pay 4.99 for a 32 page comics, poster be damned. This title is just completely taking advantage of the reader.

STAR WARS #6
June 10, 2013 1:44 pm My last issue I'm afraid. Hasn't been a bad series at all but it's made me realise that I'm really not that big a Star Wars fan. Not big enough to care about these characters in a comic book anyway.

June 4, 2013 6:03 am DC continue to butcher amazing covers with those tacky banners and loud sub headings. Such a shame

THE WAKE #1
May 29, 2013 12:38 pm Wow they packed a lot into one issue! They definitely captured that classic horror tone. The comic feels eerie and claustrophobic as they dwell to the depths of the seafloor.
The art was sharp and detailed, what you expect from Sean Murphy but I kind of had an issue with the colouring. I dunno if it was the fimiliarity of seeing Punk Rock Jesus in black and white but it kind of threw me a bit. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.
Good first issue!

X-MEN #1
May 28, 2013 1:45 pm It ain't cheap to follow the on-goings of the Marvel Universe, that's for sure!
I'm quite content with my buddy's Daredevil and Hawkeye in the 2.99, monthly section for now!
