March 22, 2013 10:14 pm I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but there was not one double page spread. Each page was went to be viewed in landscape on a tablet or widescreen monitor. I thought it worked great.
March 22, 2013 7:49 am Great choice! Martin's art is always worth something, and BKV is one of my favorites of all time. I was not really into digital a year ago. Two things changed. 1) I bought a tablet 2) Marvel has free dowload codes I probably wouldn't have read comics digitally with a tablet. I am still stuck in my backwards mindset that I like to have a paper copy (Although 30+ Longboxes is changing my mind). Marvel's free (for 3.99) offer made me decide to redeem the code, and now I read anything with the code on my tablet while I commute. I love it now. So a year ago, when I would have ignored or waited for the paper release of the issue, now I had no problem plopping down $2 and reading it. Between this and Saga, I am in heaven.
January 18, 2013 8:00 pm Congrats Ron. But, I can't believe how sad I feel. I am not a regular poster, but have been a loyal listener since the beginning of 2006. It is hard to imagine the podcast without you. I appreciate all of you, but I seemed to agree with you the most. Fly you fool! Welcome to my weekly routine Paul!
June 15, 2012 7:43 pm Loved this weeks selection. MCA + Noto = Oh yeah Justice League and Phoenix were rad too.
March 16, 2012 12:30 pm I was about to write that Francavilla won again... then I saw Grampa's sketch
March 14, 2012 9:48 pm This story is HUGE!!! Already amazing characters. A wonderful hero named Marko? Who would have thought. POW 4 Life
February 7, 2012 7:03 am I would have been able to take the dancing spider-man in 3 if that was what was the point of the scene. When Peter wears the symbiote, he was supposed to be dark and dangerous, not a clown. I'm still mixed on the trailer though... too much dark? At least he was wise cracking.
December 31, 2011 1:20 pm I took it out and just couldn't finish it (read a little more than half). His ramblings describing the covers of various classic comic book covers and storylines that I was all too familiar with just couldn't hold my attention. I wanted to like it but I only recommend the book to hardcore Morrison fans.
December 21, 2011 9:34 am I really love this guy. At first I thought it was because he did such amazing sketches on Twart. But after reading his actual comics, I can say that this guy is right up there.
December 16, 2011 6:03 am I'm not sure where I satand. When it comes to the inking debate, the first person I think of for some reason is Joe Mad. I remember his Battle Chasers and X-men stuff as so crisp and with clean lines. The new Avenging Spider-man is really nice and clearly him, but I ask myself, does he need an inker? Maybe there is a button for that?
