April 18, 2013 2:55 pm I'm glad that you had a good time with your cosplay group, but I hardly see this as "saving" your life. All you've done is channel your insecurities into wanting attention from strangers. Revolving your life and sense of self-worth around what others think of you is never a healthy mentality to be in. You will know your life is "saved" when you start working out for your own health instead of to impress people at a con and when you start valuing the relationships you have with people instead of valuing how you look.
