SWAMP THING #6
January 30, 2012 4:02 pm I think Animal Man is the better book on every level right now. The problem is because they're so closely related I'm constantly comparing them which really isn't fair of me. I'm still not 100% I'm going to stick with this all the way through but I'm on board for now. Snyder is killing it on Severed, Batman and of course American Vampire and I trust this one will hit those levels eventually.

New Comics for 02/01/2012 is fond of the new Honda commercial
January 30, 2012 3:54 pm Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Sweet Tooth, Rachel Rising, X-Factor. Dropped SHIELD and Demon Knights this week leaving the aforementioned Animal/Swampy combo plus Batman and Wonder Woman the last of the 52 standing. As far as SHIELD went I just expected the series to go in a totally different direction after the very first issue and I finally decided to let go. Still loving Hickman on Fantastic Four/FF though.
BQ: Betty White Snickers or Bugles male cheerleader. Go G-Men!

Matthew Vaughn to Return for X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Sequel
January 30, 2012 3:46 pm First Class is in the top echelon of comic book movies. Easily. The contrast between films like it and Iron Man and the occasional chuckle mediocrity that was Thor couldn't have been starker.

January 26, 2012 11:19 am I thought issue #24 with Mr. Bun and the staircase was the best single issue from 2011.
The main story is good. Much of the back and side story stuff is great.
