February 3, 2009 4:18 am Do you think that Heroes is kinda poking fun at themselves with this title? I mean, with all the complaints about complicatons, time-travel and future telling, they come back with a CLEAR and PRESENT danger. They seem to be trying to simplify it to attract a more mainstream audience, and, while I loved this episode, that makes me worried. I've personally liked all three volumes so far, but I don't like the idea of them trying to dumb it down to attact more viewers.
I don't really like Manhantan's voice, but I do like Rorsarch's.
What bother's me is the emphasis on the word 'Watchmen'
If I remember correctly, the word Watchmen was never spoken in the book. In this trailer, it seems to be synonymous with 'masks'. That takes away some of the metaphor and brillance to me.
But who cares? It's not like it's gonna stop me from putting down my $10.
If Toby gets the heroes on his side and they go back to the 'real' universe and fight and win, this series will be a fun, but ultimatly unimportant and forgettable, mini.
On the other hand, if Toby gets the heroes on his side and they go back to the 'real' universe and fight and get their asses kicked (possibly with a line along the lines of, "We always win on our world. We just can't win in your world.") and Galactus gets to eat the plane, this will be my favorite mini of all-time and will be unique and poignant.
@Crippler
1. The Hydra. It's on the smaller island and is where Jack was kept at the start of season 3.
2. Yes
3. Charles
4. It's magic
5. No. But giant human Walt may.

My shop got it
I am enjoying this book but I had a thought.

Who's with me on this?
