May 16, 2013 4:35 pm I'm slowly getting into the Captain Marvel series, despite the lackluster outfit and the weird hair issues (what's with the fauxhawk -- ugh!). The stories have been pretty good. And despite his non-traditional, stylized work, I found Andrade to be a very good layout artist storyteller. I definitely think they need to rethink this outfit -- but I feel the same about many of the Marvel NOW outfits.

April 25, 2013 6:06 pm I liked the first issue more than I though I would. I liked Star-Lord's retro new look (never liked him shooting guns with bullets in outer space), but I'm not liking how generic Gamora looks -- especially in that armor. Any way, I have high expectations that we'll see the missing Guaridans down the road -- Bug, Mantis, Moondragon and even Adam Warlock.

April 25, 2013 6:03 pm I'm a Deodato fan, but I'm still not sure about Hickman. I liked his FF stuff initially, but dragged at the end. So far, the Avengers feel like afterthoughts in this series. It's more about Hickman's new toys, and I'm still not invested in this run.

April 17, 2013 12:43 pm The cover is nicely designed, but I don't care for the illustration style. Unfortunately, the Legion got off to a bad start with the first issue. They had a chance to bring readers back with this arc, but they're already blowing it. What do do? Two words: George Perez!

April 17, 2013 12:40 pm Exactly. I dropped after the second issue. DC should refund anyone's money who bought this on the promise of JSA. Don't know how or why this was even greenlit!

April 17, 2013 12:38 pm It's a solid book. I think you really need to read an issue to appreciate the artwork if it doesn't appeal to you on the surface. The worst thing (and it's probably not his fault) is the crap outfit.

March 19, 2013 7:36 pm Last issue was amazing! Too bad the series couldn't have kicked off with that much excitement. But if this is Giffen's last issue already, I think Paul will need to find a new co-plotter -- cause his solo stuff hasn't been very entertaining.

March 19, 2013 7:33 pm Dropped it -- and very upset with the false advertising. This isn't JSA by any means. Should ask my LCS to send the books back and get a full refund!
