THE SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #1
January 8, 2013 2:34 pm I hate Peter Parker like I hate poison. I couldn't get into Ultimate Spidey until Miles showed up and I'll give this a definite try as well since Peter is gone (at least for a while).

AVENGERS #2
December 21, 2012 1:05 pm Yeah, they have plenty of heavy hitters. No argument there. Just seems like the recruiting of characters like this kinda goes against the whole new mantra of there are huge threats, everything keeps escalating and we need to think bigger. Are more street level characters the answer to this?
Doesn't matter what order these events happen in, even if you lump these two characters into the "support structure" side of things that Steve mentions, are a character (Jessica) that people have had endless trust issues with and a character (Shang Chi) who has no deep Avenger roots at all good choices?

INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK #2
December 19, 2012 2:25 pm (Kinda story spoilers ahead) This may be a dumb question but what exactly was Banner trying to pull over on Tony in the Himalayas scene? I read it twice and have no idea what his endgame was there. Was it really just to fight Tony? His internal monologue seems to hint at something bigger than that. And then when it's done, Tony is totally fine with it and doesn't care? That scene and the follow up scene make no sense to me.

The Paradox of Power Levels
December 12, 2012 7:38 pm Power levels crack me up. It feels so out of place when the actual level names are verbalized by characters. Last time I recall seeing an example was in The Annihilators. It was something like Omega vs. Omega Plus.

AVENGERS ARENA #1
December 12, 2012 2:11 pm SPOILERS: (filler text filler text filler text) I really hope it is thoroughly explained how Arcade is this powerful now. Maybe I missed something and need to give it a re-read but I won't be satisfied with a "this is his world so it is his rules" explanation. I mean he was ridiculously strong. I LOVE how he was drawn, though.

THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #1
November 14, 2012 1:24 pm Making this my PotW over Batman makes me feel skeevy, like I'm cheating on my wife while she's at church.
