Bio: I have been a contributor/columnist for iFanboy since June 2008. Since then, I have written a ridiculous number of articles about comic books, far too many to name here. My most recent columns are listed here, while older pieces are listed in full over at Jimski.com.

May 7, 2012 9:56 pm Do you guys ever get this bunched up about stuff that actually matters to someone? If this is how much you spin out about a couple guys talking about comic books, woe be unto your city council meetings.
May 7, 2012 8:11 pm Oh, my God. The people on Friday night were such @$$holes, I had to go back Saturday night, only to be greeted by a completely new set of @$$holes.
May 7, 2012 2:23 pm Even as I have enjoyed this series, I have increasingly thought, "How much longer could this possibly continue?" The story felt finite, and my third-act-sense was tingling. (Same thought, times five: Unwritten.)
May 6, 2012 12:50 am Tonight's audience would have waited at the stage door for Hulk. As would I have.
May 5, 2012 2:32 pm I have to go back tonight. I was sitting in front of the most ill-behaved child this side of the gates of a long term care facility, who was just incapable of shutting up. Not in an "I'm so excited" kind of way, which would have been endearing, but in a "look what I can do with my mouth: bababababababababa!!" kind of way. He didn't know who any of the characters were, which suggests Daddy was one of us, dragging the poor Tasmanian Devil along for the ride. If you're out there, Daddy, fuck you all the way to hell. I think it was awesome. It looked like it was being awesome. I just won't feel like I really saw it until tonight. Do we really want to see a movie about Thanos, though? I read Infinity Gauntlet for the first time just this year, and... well, I'm happy for everyone who has fond memories of it.
April 29, 2012 9:53 pm Now see, I was pleasantly surprised by their willingness to go down this side street and barely feature any of the main characters.
April 26, 2012 10:34 pm Having done my share of reading about Stan Lee, I can confirm that he essentially came up with mutants because he was tired of cooking up origin stories.
April 24, 2012 3:32 am My comics are a matter of public record. BQ: I just finished "I Want My MTV," an oral history of the golden age of said network. (The book ends at 1992, roughly the same time I stopped watching MTV.) It wasn't quiiiite what I wanted it to be-- I'd have loved to hear more from the original VJs-- but it reminded me of countless things I'd put behind me and told many a behind-the-scenes tale of the cocaine-fueled shoots of some of your favorite videos. To say nothing of the chapter on "Remote Control." I moderately recommend it.
April 23, 2012 4:24 pm Remember, her body can be any shape she wants it to be.
April 23, 2012 4:23 pm SO good. Some of my favorites.
