Do they count as spoilers if the comic is based on a well-known novel? This was a great conclusion to…

June 6, 2011 2:48 pm So, no more Stephanie. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that Red Robin/Spoiler team-up book.
June 6, 2011 1:56 pm I like Simone, so even though I'll miss Stephanie terribly (if she is, in fact, getting the boot), I'll continue reading Batgirl. If Steph isn't Batgirl, I wonder where she'll go? Back to Spoiler? Just disappear? I'd like to see her in the Bat books in some capacity.
June 6, 2011 9:05 am I saw it last night with two guys who don't read comics, and we all enjoyed it. I loved the period-piece aspect (Fassbender made turtlenecks hot) and getting to see some lesser-known mutants. I didn't really think of it as a "comic book movie," but more as a "movie set in the 1960's that just happens to have some mutants in it." I thought McAvoy as Prof X was excellent - his mutation pick-up line was great, and "Don't touch my hair" was a much better line than that one about going bald towards the end. My only real quibble with the movie was the casting of January Jones. When she disappeared for a good chunk of the movie, I completely forgot she was even in it until they came back for her at the end. I've seen tree limbs with more personality than she displayed.
May 9, 2011 7:50 pm I loved Smallville when I was in college, but I got really tired of Lana and gave it up around season 5. Knowing that it's ending has me nostalgic, though, and I'll probably go on a bender this summer and watch the entire series.
May 9, 2011 7:21 pm I know I'm commenting a little late, but Scott Pilgrim? Really? My type is immature man-boys who hang out at comic shops and play too many video games and even I wouldn't put up with him. :) Peter Parker would probably be the only guy on this list I'd fight you over, and I'd forget about him in a heartbeat if Jimmy Olsen showed up. I love a man in a bowtie.
May 4, 2011 9:41 pm This trailer didn't get me as excited about the movie as the first one did, but I'll go see anything with Ryan Reynolds and Peter Sarsgaard.
April 11, 2011 8:32 pm It took me forever to track down an issue of Brave and Bold #33, but after reading it I totally agree with you guys and wish it had been nominated. Moon and Ba as well, but I didn't really like Scalped so I'm not feeling the Aaron love.
April 11, 2011 8:12 pm My only book is Batgirl, which is okay since I have to pick up last week's comics as well.

BQ: The Child's Play movies scarred me for life. No creepy living dolls for me, thanks.
April 5, 2011 3:35 pm Sounds like an interesting story. I'm a big fan of Aspen comics, so it's nice to see them getting some love on iFanboy. I'll definitely be picking this up tomorrow.
March 14, 2011 3:18 pm WANT! These are amazing.
