Do they count as spoilers if the comic is based on a well-known novel? This was a great conclusion to…

June 30, 2011 10:33 pm I wish Noto would sell prints of the sketches he puts on his Tumblr. They're amazing.

A GoT comic book is exciting news - I might actually be able to convince more of my friends to start reading comics when it comes out.
June 29, 2011 1:27 pm Oh, thank goodness. I thought I was the only person who really enjoyed the Tank Girl movie. This version sounds pretty awesome, though - I'll watch anything starring Simon Pegg.
June 29, 2011 1:24 pm @SpiderTitan I would say yes. I majored in English and the books that I'm usually the most interested in (Fables, Unwritten, Sandman) include some nod to that.
June 29, 2011 1:00 pm I love Grifter! This is the new DC book I'm the most excited about.
June 28, 2011 10:47 am I love SMBC! It's one of the first webcomics I recommend to people, along with xkcd and Hark! A Vagrant.
June 23, 2011 1:44 pm Excellent article, Molly. I've seen the "hot girls can't be geeks" argument before, and it always struck me as baffling. If you're a dude and a pretty girl expresses interest in your comic book collection/Star Wars knowledge/D&D campaign, isn't that awesome? I know I love it when I meet an attractive guy and he is as crazy about that stuff as I am. Yeah, I got teased (a lot) when I was younger. Still do, in fact. But one of my favorite things about being a geek is that I get to geek out and share my enthusiasm with others.
June 21, 2011 11:44 am That variant cover is awesome and heartbreaking.
June 9, 2011 10:42 am Yay, Grifter! And Stormwatch. Two more books I'll definitely be picking up.
June 8, 2011 10:38 am The Teen Titans cover looks like something I would've read back in college (fitting, I guess, since it's Lobdell and Booth and I was big into Wildstorm at the time), but that's the only one of these books that really interests me. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Stephanie will show up in one of these announcements.
June 6, 2011 4:36 pm I read "Every former Robin who gets his own book please step forward" over on twitter and got excited, thinking Stephanie was getting a book after all. Guess I should've paid more attention to the pronoun.
