Hate to burst your bubble Conor, but Superboy-Prime will probably be back soon. Just take a look at the cover to Adventure Comics #4 (which is pretty meta itself: http://www.comicvine.com/news/adventure-comics-4-superboy-prime-heeeees-back/139063/).

Definitely reminds me of a Quitely/Pope hybrid. And while I love the attention to detail (costumes that actually resemble clothing...), I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the Daredevil pin-up (although that's probably just because I hate the yellow DD costume). The Furry Water book looks awesome though.

Mike, that movie voting thing is only one half of the bracket. You can still vote for Iron Man when they put up the other half (though it's up against Superman 2). And in regards to that Slate article, some people are just always going to be elitist. Not much you can do but ignore them and hope their drivel eventually morphs into nothing more than an annoying ringing in your ear.

Next time, you have to get footage of Kirkman and Aaron fighting a bear. I think they could win.

I hated Phonogram, but the actual writing was never bad, so I might give this a shot, if it comes out in a light week.

Not sure if anyone's seen the front page of the NY Daily News today, but all I have to say is: MAYHEM!

I wish my store had gotten any of the issues in, but as it stands, I am eagerly awaiting the trade.

Stop Waiting and Just Read the Book!

I think it's safe to assume that anyone who keeps logs of what comic issue is in what box has some form of OCD. Sticking to one kind of book format seems like nothing compared to that.

Don't be bummed Ron, Francoeur's been unconcious since we got him.

Justice Societies of America?

The idea seems clever enough, but I wish it didn't mean I would have to buy another book. That actually makes me less likely to buy either of them, unless they're really, really good, as I'm guessing they'll tie into each other pretty frequently.
