can anyone tell me if the issue covers are included?  hero and/or sliver covers?

this was a pretty good issue...  i have no real complaints...  but i am having a hard time getting excited about GL or GLC right now...  i wonder if anyone else is feeling the same...  i think i'm just burnt out with the whole GL "universe"...  which is a shame seeing how Blackest Night is about to start up...  maybe i just can't stick with a book for that long...  i get bored...  i read every issue of the latest GL and GLC volumes in the last year or so...  maybe i've had enough...  i passed on the last GL issue and i think i am done with GLC for now...  i will still be getting Blackest Night...  and i will probably give GL another shot when Doug Mahnke starts drawing because i like his work...   

June 10, 2009 4:03 pm @BettyWhite, RIP isn't really essential to understand Final Crisis...  but if you read them both, read RIP first, up until the last 2 issues of the hardcover...  save those 2 issues for reading between Final Crisis 5 and 6...

June 9, 2009 8:03 pm yep, those 2 Batman issues would have been nice...  they were already collected in the Batman RIP hardcover, but i wonder if they might have fit better with this collection...

May 28, 2009 8:13 pm yeah...  spoiled for me too...  it's my own fault for looking here before reading the book...  i was just looking for some general reactions to help me decide if i should buy the book...  a spoiler warning would have been nice, but seeing as the book is out...  i blame myself...  oh well...

this is a rare case of me trying a book because i like the character...  i'm not familiar with the creative team at all...

May 26, 2009 4:37 pm last couple of issues have been meh...  i tried re-reading last issue this morning and ended up skimming over most of it because i was getting bored...  i would drop this if not for Blackest Night coming up...

if i could only buy 1 comic next month it would be Batman & Robin...  i will try Detective for the JHWilliams art...  that's all the bat books for me...
