November 1, 2011 9:07 pm I really hope this book does well. I'm a fan of MMA and I really hope it transitions well into telling a story. Not alot of entertainment portray MMA into quality storytelling.
September 18, 2011 12:06 am Keep on trucking with these articles, Josh. I like reading all the comments from this column. As for my opinion about too much, its all about balance. Don't oversaturate yourself with stuff. Create some principles, stick with it and you will see how much stuff you can cut out.
September 13, 2011 1:26 pm I'm sticking with my theory that the mysterious woman is Voodoo. Her synopsis for the first issue reboot seems interesting enough to make her into that type of character. She also learn time-manipulation from a elderly Daemonite. But a Marvel / DC crossover would be cool. we shall see...
August 27, 2011 9:18 am Great Article, Josh! Keep it up and you are not alone.
July 1, 2011 11:51 am I'm gonna start following Scalped now. I liked his work on The Other Side which made me buy the first trade but it didn't pull me in. I read Scalped 35 (#7 as best single issue, Thanks iFanboy) but after reading 50, it is time to read some more Scalped. Also even though I didn't know all the characters, I didn't really care, that was a good story overall.
May 20, 2011 10:12 am I want to see Muppet X-Men vs. Dr. Moira Mactaggert and the Electric Mayhem vs. the Brotherhood of Doozers vs. Sesame Factor.....right....now.
May 16, 2011 11:13 am I liked the movie but I agree with most of what Josh said. I had to explain to all my friends what they were looking at in the credits end scene. Even I was little annoyed waiting for a very weak teaser like that. I rather see Hawkeye practicing his skills or show Mark Ruffalo as a cameo than see a cosmic cube.

In my opinon of the movie overall, I think the comedy overshadowed the minimal action. I liked the costumes and set designs but the fight scenes were way too short and unfulfilling toward the end. I agree with Josh, it did feel like a chapter. It didn't feel like good guy beat bad guy, it felt more like selfish guy became nice guy.
February 2, 2011 2:37 pm "The video game console is the greatest opponent to extracurricular productivity in the history of man."

Thank you for saying these words. It recently hit me that I have to give up time with hobbies in order to stay focused on my dreams as a artist and I have alot of hobbies. Video games are definitely one of them, I do play once and a while but now it must require some enjoyment within a small amount of time (preferably no games with a deep story or unable to save at any point). I watch less TV and watch DVDs while I'm browsing or drawing. I grew up on all these hobbies but I realized that I need to make sacrifices in order to achieve my dreams.

The biggest motivation for me is the 30 day challenge that I found out in this article. This really helped me work as a artist every day. I don't feel guilty if I miss a day, it just motivates me to work harder.

Thank you for sharing your struggles and keep writing.
January 12, 2011 1:14 pm Punisher War Journal #7 Punisher vs. Wolverine - That was my first comic issue I remember buying that got me hooked to comics. All thanks to Jim Lee.
December 3, 2010 1:22 pm Brave and the Bold #33 - It got me into a more serious interest in collecting in issues. This is a comic book that deserves to be on a shelf than in a box.
